Privacy Policy

Last updated — September 2026

Woven is a one-person practice run by Marcus Woo. This site is intentionally simple, and so is the way information is handled here.

Information you send by email

When you email marcuswoo@gmail.com or use a contact form on this site, the message and whatever you include in it — your name, email address, and details about your project — comes directly to Marcus.

It is used only to reply to you and to carry on our conversation about working together. It is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing, and you are never added to a mailing list without explicitly asking to be.

Information collected automatically

This site does not use advertising trackers or third-party profiling cookies. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs (things like IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability.

If privacy-respecting analytics or a form service is added in the future, it will be limited to aggregate visit data — page views, referring sites, general region — and this page will be updated to say so before it goes live.

Links to other places

Portfolio and writing links lead to other sites, including client websites and Substack. Once you leave this site, their own privacy practices apply.

How long things are kept

Email conversations are kept as long as they are useful for our working relationship, or until you ask to have them deleted.

Your choices

You can ask at any time to see what information is held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Just send a note to marcuswoo@gmail.com and it will be handled promptly.

Children

This site is meant for a professional audience and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If the way information is handled changes, this page will be updated with a new date at the top.
