Weaving soul into cyberspace.

By Marcus Woo

Translating human essence into digital form.

I listen for the soul of your work and then use technology to help you build it. Websites, apps, and systems that embody your vision in the digital world.

01The practice

Human depth is the new frontier.

The coming age of creation is not defined by technical capacity. It is defined by human depth.

Anyone can now prompt a machine to produce a website, an app, an image, or a system. The barrier to making has fallen. But the ability to generate is not the same as the ability to create.

What gives digital work meaning is not merely what it does. It is what it carries.

Soul. Taste. Intuition. Story. Restraint. Beauty. A felt relationship to the people, places, questions, and experiences from which the work emerges.

02Translation

From the unseen into the digital.

Woven is a practice of translation: bringing what is inward, intuitive, and uniquely yours into forms that can live online.

I work between human vision and evolving digital intelligence to create websites, artworks, tools, and systems that do more than function. They embody and express.

You might think of me as a techno-shaman: someone who helps move an essence across the threshold, from the unseen into the digital, without losing its vitality along the way.

Technology is no longer the limiting factor. The real frontier is our humanity—how deeply we feel, how attentively we listen, and how far we are willing to travel into our own hearts.
03The edge

A translator, muse,
and perhaps shaman.

I work with people that want to express something unique in the world—people who have a vision and need a translator, muse, and perhaps shaman to bring it into manifestation.

I wield technology the same way a painter uses a brush: as a medium for creating new worlds.

I am most drawn to those working at the edge of what is familiar: people with ideas the world may not yet have language for, let alone be ready to receive. Together, we make space for those ideas to arrive.

Deep listener.
Systems thinker.
Techno shaman.
Builder.

I hold an MBA from the Quantic School of Business and a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia. Over the past two decades, I’ve worked across small business, real estate, agricultural cooperatives, nonprofits, and social-impact enterprise—learning to see organizations as living systems and the people inside them as whole human beings.

I started building websites when I was twelve, and that early fascination has never left me. Technology has always felt like a kind of magic: a way to bring what matters into form. Today, in this age of digital intelligence, I’m especially inspired by how we can use these tools to build beautiful, meaningful things for our communities and the world.

Woven is where all of that comes together: deep listening, careful thinking, and a lifelong love of making.
